FUNAI CASTLE RUIN (府内城跡)
Funai is another name of Oita. Funai castle was built at 1597, and destroyed most of castle at the early Meiji era. At the present, Only the gate and some turrets are remains, and other place are remake as a Oita castle ruin park for Oita people.

USUKI CASTLE RUIN (臼杵城跡)
Usuki castle was the sea castle, which built at the island on Usuki bay. The castle tower was destroyed at the early Meiji era, and reclaim the land from the sea. The ruin is using as the park and held the cherry blossom festival at every Spring.
